Sybase PowerBuilder

The Challenge
Sybase was at 90% of their quarterly revenue goal with only one month left in the quarter.

  The Results
To quickly deliver actionable leads to the sales team, The MOD Studio developed, designed and executed on a Sybase PowerBuilder microsite that captured prospect information by providing a complimentary IDC white paper in exchange for a prospect's contact information. To drive prospects to the microsite, we developed a comprehensive Google Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign, that included Google Adwords and Content-Targeted AdWords.

  The Raves
Sybase PowerBuilder went from 90% of their quarterly sales target to 111% in one month's time.

The MOD Studio worked closely with Rainmaker to create and execute integrated marketing programs in one quarter that delivered 1.5X the revenue of the previous quarter and 3.5X the revenue of the same year ago quarter. More remarkably, new license sales went from 10% of total revenue in Q1 2009 to 21% in Q1 2010.

Due to the success of the programs, the product owner for another Sybase product, Sybase PowerDesigner, signed on for a multi-channel lead generation campaign that includes Pay Per Click, email campaigns and micro site development.


Performing Arts Programs Inc. (PAPI)


The Challenge
The MOD Studio worked closely with the Performing Arts Program (PAPI) to take their existing brand, which had been in the marketplace for 18 years, and create a new identity that better represented the sophistication and style of their product and target market. After the identity phase was complete, The Mod Studio carried forward the look to create a tasteful media kit in a square pocket folder format, containing rate sheets, program samples and contract agreements. To help promote the new PAPI identity, The Mod Studio developed an effective direct mail campaign targeted to businesses who would most benefit by advertising to arts patrons.

  The Results
PAPI has received numerous compliments on the stylish, new look and has more potential business opportunities in the pipeline than ever before. The updated aesthetic has enabled PAPI to attract new business from clients who traditionally advertise in local glossy magazines. The new media kits have helped the PAPI sales team increase their closing ratios by 50% on advertising contracts, especially for clients who are out of town. The new design has created  broader brand awareness for PAPI, which has translated in increased market share (in a down economy), in the Austin market.

Work It Personal Training/Foundation Fitness

The Challenge
Work It Personal Training was starting from scratch when they engaged with The MOD Studio in 2007. We created a cohesive look and feel for all identity and collateral pieces and began running ad campaigns in FAVE Magazine.  In a short time Work It experienced such rapid growth that they once again called on our design-savvy staff when opening their own fitness training facility, Foundation Fitness. We, once again, created the identity, marketing materials and website as well as helping with the interior design of their Allandale studio.
 
The Results
From the logo design to the ad campaigns, the cohesive branding has set Work It Personal Training apart from the competitors as a recognizable fitness name in the area.  The distinctive ad design has attracted much attention and is directly responsible for almost a third of the company’s current client base.  The branding of Foundation Fitness continues to receive high compliments and attract attention. Both entities continue to use The MOD Studio for their expertise in design and branding and are extremely pleased.
