Maria Orozova - President & Creative Director Having spent over ten years developing successful advertising and branding campaigns for national clients, her integrated marketing know-how fuels the MOD Studio’s creative print, web, and editorial designs. Maria is also a featured writer for Entrepreneur.com and serves on the board of the Austin Advertising Federation. She is committed to giving back to the community by supporting the Center for Child Protection, Lifeworks, Habitat for Humanity and Austin Sunshine Camps. In addition to her professional and volunteer duties, Maria also finds time to pursue a wide range of personal interests, including pilates, traveling and interior design.
Scott Thomas - Chief Marketing Guru With a background working with such industry leaders as Accenture, American Express, AT&T, Bank of America, Cisco Systems, Citicorp, Dell, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Panasonic, Siemens, Yahoo and numerous high growth companies, Scott creates and executes our new go-to-market strategies, leads marketing and brand transformations and implements in-market programs for regional and national clients. He has also been a finalist at the Austin Under 40 Awards for the past 2 years in a row and is the president of Austin's Habitat Young Professionals chapter. In his spare time, this nature-lover enjoys hanging out with his dog, Duke Basketball and is committed to visiting at least one new country each year.
Ashley Horsley - Graphic Designer Ashley is a double threat. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a BFA in Communication Design AND a minor in English and Creative Writing. If that is not enough, she also was the design portfolio review winner 3 years in a row and her work was featured in the Graphis New Talent Annual. She brings to MOD over 4 years of experience providing clients with exemplary logo and identity designs. This Texas native volunteers at the Humane Society and enjoys baking, cheering on the Texans and Rockets, and fine art.
Trayce Conkle - Graphic Artist & Illustrator Trayce received a BA with honors in Computer Graphic Design with a minor in Graphic Art. His clean and artistic style enhances his ability to execute spectacular identity and branding projects. With a rich background in working for prestigious agencies and design studios, Trayce has produced a wide range of designs from corporate identity and direct mail to technical drawings, traditional non-digital illustrations, digital 3-D product, and scene modeling. When Trayce is not cranking out award-winning ideas, this technology enthusiast enjoys playing the guitar and cheering on the Texas Longhorns.
Emily Purvis - Interactive & Social Media Specialist Emily is our resident “linguist” speaking languages like—HTML, CSS, Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress, AP Style and so many more. Her credentials? She worked at the Brides of Oklahoma Magazine keeping brides-to-be updated on the latest wedding trends in their daily blog. She also graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BA in Advertising and was awarded membership in the Alpha Delta Sigma Honor Society. Her daily routine at MOD is always varied but generally revolves around content creation; whether she’s developing social media strategy, editing code, or proofing copy, she’s all about the content. On the weekend, you'd find Emily running around Town Lake or scribbling away in her notebook.
